“Ein schöner Aufenthalt in Harlingen”
I was impressed with the hotel's location, which was right in the centre of town, just a short walk from the weekly market and harbour. However, I was a bit disappointed with the room, where the double bed was actually two single beds pushed together with separate mattresses. To prevent them from shifting, I had to get creative with some rope. Despite this, the hotel's central location made up for the inconvenience.
“Super vibe”
My stay was top-notch, with a fantastic room in the garden that was incredibly peaceful. The bar also had a great atmosphere, making it a lovely spot to unwind. One drawback was the entrance to the room, which was through the restaurant - not ideal for guests who want to keep a low profile. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
“Gezellig hotel midden in centrum, vriendelijk personeel met uitstekend ontbijt”
The hotel's central location and nearby café/restaurant were definite advantages, but unfortunately, our room had a bit of a problem with a sewer smell. To make matters worse, the room was situated under a slanted roof, which made it feel a bit like a cramped attic space.
“Sfeervol”
I loved the hotel's location and the delicious breakfast on offer. However, I did miss having a desk or workspace in the room, which would have been handy. Additionally, I think the steep stairs might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. Overall, though, the positives outweighed the negatives.
“Prima hotel, wij waren er maar 1 nacht omdat we de volgende dag doorgingen naar Terschelling!”
I had a lovely breakfast at this hotel, but I must admit that the stairs were a bit of a challenge for me, especially with my new hip. The steep stairs were a surprise, and I wasn't expecting to be staying in a room all the way at the top. It might not be a problem for younger guests, but for me, it was a bit of a struggle.
