I booked a check‑in slot via Booking, the drive took an hour, and during that hour I got an email saying the hotel would already be closed at my chosen time. When I arrived the door was locked, and I couldn’t get a refund because Booking had offered a room at a time when the hotel was already shut.

“Goor, goedkoop ingericht weghotel op lelijke locatie.”

The rooms were disappointing: plastic sinks, tiny windows, a plastic caravan toilet and bathroom – it was just a pretty bad hotel, even for a roadside stop.
