“老板非常好👍,离开的时候大雨,我带着2个行李箱,老板帮忙把行李送到车站,忙了大忙。”
The hot spring was only a 2–3 minute walk away. The room was just for sleeping, but you could go to the hot spring anytime in the evening or morning.

Summary of this review
The guest house made good use of its location at Wakuya Onsen, was easy to spot from the station, and kept a very clean appearance. There was a women‑only room, which gave me peace of mind. I received prior notice, so I felt safe visiting. It also seemed to be a gathering spot for local residents, making it a lovely place to stay. The only issue was that, apparently for this season, the second‑floor toilet was closed and I was directed to use the first floor. It wasn’t a problem, but I realized the first floor was the staff’s living area and, even though there was a partition, it felt a bit awkward for a first‑time guest to descend there. I made sure to use the restroom when I was out and kept a low profile at night.

Everything was excellent.

The property was easy to locate and close to the station. The only downside was the absence of a sitting area.

Wakuya Onsen, restaurants, and a convenience store were all within walking distance, and the parking was free. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to; they even pointed me toward good eateries. The room had a retro vibe and was kept clean. The futons were fluffy, and my whole family said we all slept well. The rooms were probably all on the second floor, so the stairs were steep; it’s safer to break your luggage into smaller pieces or keep it light.
