The onsen was great, though the location was less convenient.

The service was solid and the facilities were good, with no complaints.

The staff were delightful and very helpful with our luggage, and each time we entered the hotel we were greeted by a staff member who also placed our shoes on the shoe shelf—unnecessary but appreciated. The private onsens were very clean and the water temperature was just right; one of them (the left one on the brochure at the reception) offered a beautiful, relaxing view. Breakfast was ryokan‑style, delicious and aesthetic.

Breakfast was tasty, the room’s bed and other furnishings were good, and the staff worked hard, which was nice to see. We went out for dinner to a nearby izakaya, which was convenient. It would have been better if we could have eaten with friends; the table setup seemed difficult.
