“Stunning jungle eco lodge”

A stunning eco lodge where birds and monkeys visit the garden daily, with hammocks, bathrooms, and a social area that were incredible; we stayed longer than planned and enjoyed a Friday pub night with locals, pizza, and drinks, creating a wonderful vibe and evening. The jungle experience was truly peaceful, and their cat was WONDERFUL, sleeping on top of our mosquito net all night. Unfortunately, the owners aren’t present, so there were no tour or breakfast options, but we still had a lovely, relaxed time in the beautiful home.

A magnificent Amazon immersion! Keira and Israel are adorable and ready to answer any questions before your arrival, making your stay unforgettable. The lodge is authentic, with no luxuries, but you’re right in the jungle; monkeys visit at dawn, even though the city is only a few hundred meters away. The showers aren’t in the main building, but hot water is available, and toilets are below the bedrooms. The roosters sang all night; bring earplugs if you have trouble sleeping.

“Un endroit sublime”

Everything! The room, the dinner ($5 per person), the location, and breakfast were all amazing, with truly good meals, and we even got a jungle tour. 🤩

“Amazing place, beds, food”

The place is the most beautiful and original spot we’ve stayed at in Ecuador; the house is stunning, the beds are super comfy, the mosquito nets are the best I’ve ever seen, the food and breakfast are amazing, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly and warm. Despite all the safety concerns near the border, we drove our rental car from Quito to Lago Agrio and Cuyabeno during the day and never felt unsafe. Maskani Wasi is a place I would absolutely recommend!
