“Excellent”
Thank you. Going through a hard time with my son in hospital but you were extremely helpful and welcoming. Very comfortable 😊😊 I would recommend it without thinking twice.

I chose this spot because it’s right next to Southampton University Hospital, which was perfect for my frequent visits. The room and bathroom stayed warm even when the weather turned cold, and the host answered my calls politely. The only downside was the shared bathroom and toilet, but that seemed to be part of the reasonable price.

The place is close to the hospital, but the shower was useless—only cold water—and the bathroom light flickered on only sometimes. With no heating, this overnight stay turned out to be the worst I’ve ever had. I’m demanding a refund and have yet to hear back.

I skipped breakfast because I couldn’t tell whose food it was, but the room itself was great except for the challenge of sitting on the toilet with long legs—no blame on the staff! I enjoyed a lovely walk to Rownhams Care Home, and the guest house’s location was spot‑on. The only issue was the very steep stairs; I had a sore knee but managed to get up, so no other complaints.

I had a decent one‑night stay, but the private bathroom felt too cramped and the bed was uncomfortable.
