Guylene and Michel are fantastic, very friendly hosts. The location is amazing with an incredible view. It’s very quiet and you can walk into the mountains from the accommodation. Everything was very clean, and we had plenty of space and many amenities, like an outdoor kitchen and lounge chairs. Thanks again for the wonderful holiday we had here!

The accommodation matched the photos and is nice. It sits a bit above Tourette-sur-Loup. You can walk about a kilometer down to the lovely village with restaurants, bars, a small ice cream shop, two bakeries, and a fruit and vegetable shop. The terrace is in full sun in the morning of early August (a large umbrella is provided) and in the shade in the afternoon. The room, as shown in the photos, is adequate for two people. A fan is available for cooling. Insect screens are in the bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor kitchen is nice; the terrace offers plenty of space with a table and two sun loungers. There’s also a retractable clothesline. Wi‑Fi works well indoors. The hosts are friendly and discreet. Good to know: the fully fenced property opens via an electric gate (remote is provided). When arriving, it’s best to park at the roadside before the gate and ring the bell. The drive from the village to the apartment and house is partly very steep (like many roads in the area) with two to three very tight turns. On the property, the owners’ Border Collie and cat roam freely. The room has limited storage. The bathroom is only separated by a sliding door. The outdoor kitchen offers little space for food, which you shouldn’t store on the work surface because of ants. Wi‑Fi works only partially outside. A small negative point for us personally: we had our own dog on a long leash on the terrace because we felt it inappropriate to let it roam the entire property. It barked at the owners’ dog when it entered “its” territory, which is normal behavior. The hosts’ reaction and criticism bothered us and dampened the stay a bit.

The quiet, the terrace and summer kitchen, the salt‑water pool, and the owners’ kindness – especially – were great. The room was a bit hot despite the altitude and the fan. To counter the daylight, a 6 am alarm could use blackout curtains.
