The hotel accepted our reservation the day before and processed the payment, but on check‑in day we drove to a remote spot only to see a sign saying they were on holiday for at least two weeks; after a tiring 90‑minute drive we had to find another place in Narvik.

Close to the ferry, heated towel bar, and clean. However, there was no hot water or coffee in the room, the main dining room wasn’t open early or late for basics like hot water, the room lacked a refrigerator, and there was no place to eat or store food while passing through or hiking.

I had a terrible experience: the room was cold, the staff seemed to work by the hour, and breakfast was non‑existent; I really had to leave.
