The building was pretty, the owners were friendly and helpful, but it wasn’t part of the accommodation; the restaurants on site were all closed for vacation.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful manor house. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming. We had a beautiful evening sat on the terrace watching the sunset over the river. We had to leave very early in the morning for the journey to the ferry and our host even came out at 5.30.in the morning to open the gate for us! Merci beaucoup!

“We can't wait to go back, it was delightful.”

Everything about this property was adored: the location in a charming village, the elegant and beautifully decorated house with comfortable furnishings and meticulous detail, the terrace offering valley and river views, and the generous, delicious meals at dinner and breakfast. The hosts were friendly and charming, and there was nothing we didn’t like.

“Quiet pastoral setting in a small town”

The manor sits above a lovely pasture and river, offering peace and quiet even though it’s still in town. Sitting outside with a glass of wine and relaxing was wonderful. Breakfast is excellent, especially the homemade pear clafoutis, with plenty of rolls, bread, ham, etc. We appreciated the two sinks in the spacious bathroom, and everything about our room was perfect. Violaine was a perfect hostess. Nothing; we could have stayed longer!
