The spot was spot on—great location, a solid pub nearby, and the food really hit the mark!
“I enjoyed my stay. Good value for money. I would stay again if in Alexandria.”
Free breakfast was good and added value for the price paid. There was no noise issue, which can be a problem with older hotels. The staff were very friendly. I knew the amenities were shared when I booked, so that wasn’t a problem, especially since there were few guests mid‑week.
The hotel staff were absolutely amazing 👏 and the food was delicious. The accommodation wasn’t very clean, the bathroom was mainly dirty, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the continental breakfast in the morning was poorly set up.
“Overall for a one night stay it is convenient place”
Quiet vibes for a Main Street address, but the meals felt a bit pricey.
“Quick and easy accomodation. Well priced”
It’s cheap, has a good pub, sits in a historic building, and is in the town centre. So many cobwebs would give my kids a scare, so it’s probably not ideal for families. Music was loud on Friday until about 11 pm, which was expected. The beds were very uncomfortable.
