The mountain, lake and pool views were truly amazing, but there were a lot of flies.
“Very nice people and beautiful views”
It’s a beautiful place to visit. The staff were excellent, especially since we had a sick child who unfortunately had an accident in bed. They were extremely kind to him, cleaned up the mess without a fuss, changed our room, and arranged for a doctor to visit. The flies during the day are a problem across the whole area, not just this property.
The place was clean and quiet, the food and service were super! Nothing to complain about – a must-try, perfect for the Mount Batur trek!

The place had a fantastic location and wonderful views; the breakfast was nice and the lunch and dinner menus were cheap yet good. I booked a room with a side window to the lake and it was divine. There were no negatives for me, but note that there is no fridge in the room, no toothbrush, and a lot of flies as is normal in Kintamani – be prepared.
