Marriott Chicago O’Hare

A top‑tier hotel: the room was flawless and I slept like a baby. I only stayed one night because of a long layover, but front desk agent Ulises answered all our questions and the shuttle bus to and from the airport was super convenient. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone with a long layover, especially since Ohare Airport lacks chairs or places to stretch or lie down.

“Nice place to stay and close to the L station. Awesome shuttle service to and from the airport.”

The room was nice and the beds comfortable, but we had dinner there and it took over an hour to get our food.

I would have preferred a complimentary breakfast, even if it was only continental. The cost of the breakfast buffet and the lack of an à la carte option were disappointing. We’re in our 70s and had a very long walk from the elevator to our room; I expected the front desk to pay more attention to assigning rooms to elderly travelers. The couple traveling with us heard kids screaming in the adjacent room and saw them jumping on the beds. Turns out a group of moms were down in the bar drinking and not supervising the kids—an ice hockey team from Michigan.

I really liked how friendly the staff and help desk were; they were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. 5 stars. I just wish they’d bring back the jacuzzi; everything else was great!
