The lodge is large with all the amenities and feels cosy and warm, and there’s nothing to complain about.

It was so cosy and exactly what we needed for the weekend.

The communal open‑plan space was great, but the floor squeaked.

The views were incredible and the cabin felt very spacious, giving us plenty of room to prepare five of us for a wedding. A hairdresser and makeup artist set up right there, which was a big plus. On the downside, the lights on the veranda were out—probably just a bulb that needs replacing—and a few lights inside the cabin didn’t work, but that didn’t stop us from wanting to stay again. There was no dishwasher, which was inconvenient the night before and after the wedding, but it’s not a deal‑breaker.
