The hotel was within walking distance from my business site, yet the booking site didn’t indicate whether the room was smoking or non‑smoking, so at check‑in I was initially told I had a smoking room. Had the smoking status been shown, I wouldn’t have booked. In the end they gave me a non‑smoking room because the site lacked that info, but the hotel should ensure accurate listings and verify them themselves.
