“Rundown and lacking.”
There were no plates or cups, no chairs at the table, and no door to the bedroom. The exhaust fan was broken, the room smelled of cigarettes, and the shower still had soap and hair from the previous guest. Only two towels were provided, and there was no front desk for assistance. One room lacked a fire alarm, the other’s battery was dead and the alarm kept chirping. Checking in at 4:00 pm felt too late for the off‑season, and the check‑in process was annoying – they sent a link to fill out for the door code only after I arrived and was waiting in the parking lot. It seemed expensive for what we received.
