The bed was very comfortable, giving me excellent sleep; the reception staff were very nice, especially Mr Emre, who was very helpful. I enjoyed the swimming pool at 7 am—remember to reserve it. The location is perfect if you’re flying in and out of Istanbul airport. I liked everything.

The location is very close to the main transportation hubs. A nearby metro station, M11, goes directly to Istanbul airport, and M2 takes you to the old town and city centre. The hotel manager, Ms Melis, was very cooperative and friendly—thanks to her. The hotel is very old and needs renovation.

We were not allowed onto the roof terrace because they said it was a private venue, yet they advertised it in the room. They placed a bouncer in the lobby, making the entire Dedeman experience terrible. The room and the bouncer at reception made Dedeman a place to avoid based on their current service level and offerings.
