I booked the Best Western in Watertown, New York, but the hotel turned out to be in Wisconsin. The receipt only said “Watertown” with no state, and I’d stayed at the NY location many times before with no issues. When I arrived, the property had changed hands, leaving me without a room after eight days in the wilderness of Northern Quebec. The front‑desk staff even lied, claiming the hotel had been a Spark for over two years. I stayed at the same building in August 2025 and it was still a Best Western. Is this the future I should expect? I want my payment back for the non‑stay at the BW in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Breakfast is fabulous. Rooms are nice and clean. This place is just way too pricey for the area.
