I liked how the location made it easy to walk around, but the hotel offered me a move to the top floor for a small extra fee, which I accepted. During a storm, water started dripping from the ceiling (so I had to shift the bed), and the balcony door wouldn’t close. I’d have wanted to tell them about all that before leaving, yet the front‑desk clerk was dozing under a blanket on the sofa and just nodded me to drop the key on the counter; it was early, so that was fine, but it was a disappointment.

I appreciated the proximity to the market, but the room was dirty. The night staff seemed to just be on duty, clueless to any questions, and the soundproofing was terrible. Late at night guests laughed and joked outside the room and the noise was audible inside, and the hotel didn’t remind people to keep quiet between 1–2 am, so it disturbed other guests. Playing games outside and inside the room was clearly heard, causing sleepless nights. When a stranger knocked on the door, the staff offered no explanation, even though the room was right next to the reception.
