The staff are really great, but the pizza Margherita we ordered was awful, and the Chalet 5 smelled as if it had never been cleaned.

Very friendly, beautiful for children up to 10 years old.

The room didn’t match the website at all; we booked a chalet on the pond’s shore with a terrace overlooking the water, but we actually received a chalet overlooking a field. That’s not what we paid for; we drove two hours to De Scherpenhof for a terrace by the water, and what we got was entirely different. It was also dirty, and many items were broken. Never book here again. Better choose Cupfan or CentralParks.

The campsite was pretty nice overall, offering a lot for kids and adults alike – there was a pool party, karaoke, bingo, and a mini disco, plus an indoor play area that was also air‑conditioned. The location was convenient; Amsterdam was close enough, and the nearest supermarket or gas station was just a village away. Parking was available on site and in front of the site, plenty of spots for everyone even if you arrive with two cars. The staff were very friendly, and you could order fresh rolls and croissants every day. We also appreciated that there was a dishwasher in the accommodation. On the downside, the rooms themselves were very dirty and rundown. Some outdoor chairs were broken, and the lawn and outdoor area were littered with leaves, making it look far from holiday‑ready. The bed linens were also dirty; we reported it at reception and received new ones. The entrance staircase had been patched up haphazardly here and there.
