Everything was great, and everything was great.
Everything about the stay was perfect.
“In shorter terms this is the worst hotel service experience I’ve ever had and I will not be rebooking ever again.”
The hotel was clean overall and in a good location, but the front‑desk woman was rude and made my check‑in difficult; she asked for my booking name, claimed nothing was under that name, asked if it was confirmed, I said yes and showed her the confirmation, then demanded my driver’s license and still said it wasn’t in the system. She explained that they don’t like third‑party bookings because that can happen, then asked, “What do you want me to do?” since there were no more rooms under Tru and they were fully booked. She offered a room at Hilton Gardens and had me rebook there. Worse, I woke up to a denied charge from Tru by Hilton for the original booking that couldn’t be found. After checking out I mentioned the charge to another staff member who, without me giving her my name or any details, found it in seconds and cancelled it, which was odd for something that supposedly couldn’t be located.
The place is in a fantastic spot.
“Extremely nice, clean, comfortable room and hotel”
Rooms were very clean and roomy, the hotel itself was nice with plenty of seating, and the pool table and foosball were great extras, but breakfast was cold, the pancake machine malfunctioned, and there was no microwave or coffee pot in the room.
