A truly remarkable spot, the host lady was incredibly friendly, but the breakfast selection felt a bit limited.

Breakfast was hearty, all you could want. The rustic room had a tiny kitchen and a small balcony, perfect for a mountain getaway. The view of the peaks was stunning, and honestly, there was nothing to complain about.

The breakfast spread was great and extensive—cheese, eggs, a variety of sausages, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and daily yogurt with fresh fruit. The dining room felt cozy, as did the rooms themselves. Kitzbühel’s center is just a 30‑minute walk away.

Malernhof sits in a lovely countryside spot at the end of a narrow lane. The old charm is there, but the rooms are roomy, clean, and come with a kitchen and kettle; Wi‑Fi works well. The hostess was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was solid. We received a Kitzbühl Welcome voucher that gave us a free return cable‑car ride per person per day—great since tickets are €35, though it didn’t cover bus travel.

The host was friendly, and the breakfast was tasty and generous. The bathroom was spacious and had underfloor heating, which made us feel very comfortable.
