I stayed at an honest, authentic desert spot where Mohamed, the host, went out of his way to make our visit memorable; his enthusiasm for Morocco and the desert was contagious, and we even got to spend an evening with him and his kitten.

Mohamed welcomed us into his inn like friends; the lodge is reachable via the trail and sits amid a breathtaking panorama, giving us a great time. The evening meal and breakfast were tasty and generous, and sunset and sunrise were accessible after a short walk. Mohamed even guided us along the Dakar trails, which once again thrilled us with the scenery.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right next to a huge sand dune that was truly magical! I hope to visit again.
