Great place with an amazing view; the locally run hostal is fantastic. The staff is super friendly. The location is great – you can walk to town but also enjoy the calm. No complaints.

We could not have been more comfortable in El Eden. The site is in a spectacular setting, about 30 minutes on foot from the village, near the hidden waterfall and blue well. Peace and tranquility are guaranteed. The owners are a local family and the hospitality was impeccable; we felt at home. Highly recommended!!! We would repeat without hesitation!

What a gorgeous spot! The gardens and views are stunning, and you can spot birds from the common area. Two sweet dogs and two cats love a good pet, and the breakfast was tasty. It’s a short stroll to Pozo Azul and Cascadia Escondida, but keep in mind it’s a couple of kilometres from town. We enjoyed the peace of nature, and the downhill walk to most restaurants takes about 15 minutes; we always rode a moto‑taxi back up for 5000 COP.

The vistas were breathtaking, and the veranda with hammocks was a perfect place to unwind. It’s walkable to Minca town, though 1.5 km up the hill takes around 30 minutes to return to the hotel. A moto‑taxi for 5000 COP is handy. It’s close to Pozo Azul waterfall and a two‑hour trek to the Marinka waterfalls. Lis and her family were wonderful hosts.

I loved every minute there. The setting is quiet and low‑key, ideal for relaxing. The room was stunning, the views were breathtaking, and the dogs were incredibly sweet. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again.
