“Affordable quality”
The room was very clean, and the staff and owner treated me like family, which mattered a lot because I’m autistic; any issues I had were resolved, so I have no further comments.

The bed was comfortable, but the location was too close to the railway and the shower was too small.

A warm welcome from Ruth, the host, and clear instructions made the arrival smooth. The apartment had a private bathroom and a fridge, and the access was easy. The location was perfect for the event at Alexandra Palace.

We were in a good area, but when we arrived there was no one at the property, even though we had emailed that we would be there between 14‑15. We arrived at 15.05, called Booking, and the owner had already cancelled us. The owner then called us and gave us her phone number; she screamed and was very rude. After about two hours we finally got access to the room. We were very stressed because we didn’t know if we would get the room and we had a concert that evening. We couldn’t rest at all and had been awake since 03.30. The room was tiny, not king‑size. The bathroom was minimal, with a very small shower that didn’t fit us; there was a larger one in the corridor if no one was using the adjacent room. The sink was tiny, the blinds were broken, and the curtains couldn’t be drawn. The fridge was off and the freezer was full of water. The owner lived on the ground floor. We think we should get a 50 % refund.
