From the moment we stepped inside, my partner and I felt instantly comfortable; the staff were all exceptionally friendly and eager to answer any questions we had about the hotel and Iceland. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that hot drinks, juices, and snacks were available free of charge at all times. If I had been picky, an extra pillow or two would have been fine—I'm 10000% sure that if I had asked, I would have received one. The location is AMAZINGGGG, ideal for launching a road trip along the south coast or the Golden Circle, surrounded by quiet flats, and it was fantastic to soak in the hot tub and sauna at night while watching the aurora, especially with no city light pollution. There's also plenty of space to relax across the hotel, taking you out of your room. I’m highly likely to recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and I was completely delighted. It’s comfortable and clean, with a good temperature, beautiful common areas (including a glassed-in lounge), free hot tub and sauna, a good breakfast, and welcome snacks. The location, not far from the road ring yet still secluded, adds a sense of tranquility. Oh, and the price is very competitive—at least for me—unbeatable compared to other hotels in the area. The staff are professional, welcoming, and attentive to ensuring everything is in order (receptionist, cleaning, etc.). What are you waiting for? If you don’t stay here, you’re crazy 😜

This was the best place we stayed on the entire trip when you compare price to what you get. The man at reception was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that each room was named after a different place or association with Iceland. The facilities were excellent, and they left snacks available for anyone to access throughout the stay, which was welcome on our first day as we hadn’t eaten much and had a later dinner reservation, so that kept us going. Breakfast was good, and the man in the kitchen was very nice; we shared a joke and laugh over breakfast. We liked the location—it’s very quiet and gives a remote vibe, nice in the wilds of Iceland. The place is a 10‑minute drive from the local town, which has a petrol station and a supermarket. Plus it was a great spot to start the first leg of our south coast journey. Nothing to mention.
