“Brilliant spot, would return”
A beautiful breakfast spot right on the river, with staff who are very helpful and professional. There are plenty of activities to choose from, like SUP, horse riding, and table tennis.

The room was a cramped 15 m² space with four bunk beds and a single double bed tucked under the sloping roof, essentially a sleeping area for up to ten people with no table or chairs – you end up living out of your car’s boot. The website showed river‑front holiday homes, but what you actually get are “bretterbuden” or container units on a meadow, plus a shared toilet and shower, which feels more like a campsite and clearly a bait‑and‑switch.

I appreciated the simplicity, the peace, and staying on a farm, though the reception staff weren’t entirely service‑focused.

Breakfast was good and the site is excellent for children, offering plenty of space and activities like canoeing, plus a generally pleasant atmosphere and always helpful staff. The Wi‑Fi needs to work inside the rooms, there aren’t enough covered seats when it rains, and the sheets weren’t dry when we arrived.

A cosy campsite set in lovely surroundings with friendly staff, and plenty for kids – a playhouse, trampolines and even free‑roaming animals. The kitchen, however, was disappointing: only a hot plate and a microwave in a tiny cupboard, and the shared fridge and freezer were far too small for everyone using them.
