The view was gorgeous, but the room wasn’t clean enough and the breakfast could use improvement.
“Beautiful View”
The view was beautiful and the breakfast lovely, and the host was friendly, but the door lock broke and stayed broken all our stay; there were many monkeys that tried to open the unlocked door repeatedly, and the bathroom blind was dirty with what looked like mould.
“Wonderful and quiet location”
The location is wonderful and quiet, the guesthouse only has three rooms, the manager is very friendly (he only talks through WhatsApp), the room is large with a comfortable bed, breakfast is served on the balcony, and a Tuk Tuk to Ella can be arranged through the manager; the description mentioned a kitchen and washing machine, but that must be a mistake, it was just a standard room 😀. The driveway is steep and the steps to the room are steep, but a helper is available to carry luggage.
The balcony offered an amazing view, the room was spacious and tidy, yet it wasn’t the right spot if you’re looking for a quiet town; we liked the location, only a short walk to Ella Rock hike, and the breakfast was decent but not spectacular.
