Parking was easy, the place was nice and the host was good.
“Lovely guest house with a warm welcome”
Karen and Carl were both very friendly and welcoming. It was like being welcomed into their home, not a faceless hotel. Everywhere was clean, tidy and no request was too much. They were very accommodating and keen to make sure my stay was happy and comfortable and that I had everything I needed. Local food recommendations were particularly helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be staying again when I'm in the area. Nothing. It was all great

We were informed right from the start that check in was after 5pm but the wedding we were attending started at 12 noon. A quick phone call and we were able to leave our car and bags and get to our venue. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our visit. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean and we were asked what time we'd like breakfast. Breakfast was two full English breakfasts,(for us) and it was lovely. Piping hot and plenty of it with refills of coffee and juice as required. The Uber network was very efficient for our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Laburnum Cottage to anyone. “Superb guest house in all aspects”
I’ve never met a more attentive hostess than Karen, the owner; she genuinely cares about her guests, which shows. The house was spotless, spacious, had ample parking, and a lovely garden. Breakfast was plentiful and catered to our needs. Located just outside Knutsford, it was easy to reach and even disabled‑friendly with a suitable room. Definitely recommend.
