The room was updated nicely, featuring hardwood floors and a colorful niche behind the headboard for storing items while watching TV; it also had a patio, a sitting area across the parking lot for guests, and a mobile coffee cart on site. The motel sits off a main road that goes through town, so I heard some traffic in the morning but not at night, which didn't prevent a good night's sleep.

A gentleman at the desk in the evening was very pleasant, but a change was left in the bathroom and a soda and leftover food container were left in the fridge.
