The stay was extremely disappointing. Throughout our stay there were constant screams and shouting, which made the rest of us feel very uncomfortable. We expected normal quiet and calm, but that was not provided at all. Cleanliness was also below the required level and left a bad impression. Additionally, when paying, the staff took a higher amount than the one indicated beforehand without a satisfactory explanation. Overall, the service and conditions did not meet my expectations. I would not visit the hotel again and would not recommend it.

The service was great, but I’ll keep quiet about that.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the building’s nostalgic architecture made a great impression, and the hotel’s proximity to the centre of Veliko Tarnovo meant everything was walkable. The only downside was that the bed mattress really needed renewing.

The rooms are pretty old, but we stayed in a studio that had been renovated, so it felt decent. The other family was in a triple that looked like it hadn't been updated in ages, and the ceiling panel over our bed was broken and splintered right above our heads—could have hurt our little one. There’s no fridge in the rooms and the bins aren’t emptied daily, which was annoying. The reception girls were friendly and always smiling, which helped make the short stay bearable.
