“A place that feels like home”
I arrived at Uger House as a complete stranger and left feeling like I was saying goodbye to family; the room was clean, comfortable, modern, quiet and exactly what you want after a long day in Seminyak, and its location—tucked away in a peaceful residential area yet close to everything you need—was great, but what I’ll remember most are the people: from the moment I got there I was welcomed with warmth and genuine kindness that you simply don’t get everywhere, the hosts went far beyond what you would normally expect from a guesthouse, always happy to help, chat, laugh or make sure I was doing alright without ever feeling forced or intrusive; during my stay it stopped feeling like a guesthouse and started feeling like I was staying with people I’d known for much longer, a rare thing when you’re traveling alone, and that’s what makes Uger House one of those places where you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for; I arrived as a stranger and left feeling like family, something I’ll carry with me from my time in Bali; thanks again Dewa and Agung (and Casy🐶) for making my stay so much more than just a place to sleep, and I hope to return someday.
