The hostel’s location is awesome, no matter where you’re headed. There are loads of restaurants and shopping spots nearby, and Hakemon Market is just a 3‑5 minute walk. I stayed in a 4‑bedroom dorm on the second floor, which was surprisingly quiet, and all the guests were very respectful. On the second day of my trip, during the Japan Long Holiday, I joined a day tour and got stuck in heavy traffic, arriving back at the hostel after 10 pm. I remembered the after‑10 pm door code but couldn’t open it. Luckily the host was leaving and helped me out, opening the door so I could get back inside. I’m really grateful to him. The bathroom and toilet were clean, and everyone kept it that way. The front desk is on the second floor, small but the host gives all the space to guests. The common area isn’t huge, but there’s a microwave, kettle, and basic tea bags for us. Nothing negative – everything was comfortable. Thanks to Stay Osaka Namba for giving me a cozy home in Osaka.

It was quiet, so I could relax. The only downside was that the bathroom was right above the entrance, making it hard to spot the shower area.

It’s close to the downtown area. The only issue is that there’s no locker for personal use and no luggage storage.

The dorm beds and bathroom were clean. The location was great, close to the station, and I managed to stay for about 2,000 ¥ on a Saturday, so the cost‑performance is pretty good. However, on the second floor there’s no elevator, so carrying a lot of luggage is a bit tough. The shower room had shampoo and body soap, but no conditioner. The washbasin had an air‑conditioner, but I couldn’t find a remote to use it, so I had to dry my hair in the heat. Since staff weren’t available outside reception hours, I couldn’t ask them to turn on the AC. I also received the same notice about “no‑show if you don’t arrive by 10 pm” about four times, which felt a bit annoying; one reminder would have sufficed.
