“Guter Service, gutes Essen, etwas abseits vom Schuss und ein nerviger Hund”
The breakfast was excellent, offering eggs on request, fresh croissants, juices, fruit, cappuccino, sausage, cheese, cake, muesli, jam, and more—all included in the price, which justifies the cost. We dined at the agriturismo in the evening, where the food was both affordable and tasty: a T‑bone steak for 18 EUR, pasta for 9 EUR, and so on. The local beer was also very good, and most dishes were homemade. The drive to the agriturismo is winding and a bit long, but that was fine since we were riding motorcycles. The view from the apartment was wonderful, and from the terrace we could see Verona at night. The location is quite remote, so if you want peace and quiet, this place is perfect; otherwise, the quiet is broken by a dog from the estate—or a neighbor’s dog—that barked almost all night, which was tiring. When the dog finally stopped, the rooster crowed, too. We didn’t see any other restaurants nearby, and if you want to eat elsewhere, the distances are large.
