The staff were helpful and it was easy to understand what I needed to do when I arrived late. I also appreciated the receipt emailed to me. I had ordered a lamp that wasn’t in the room, so I had to call several times before someone came out to bring it.

I liked the calm and beautiful surroundings, the bathroom was nice with a good shower, and the room had a table to put things on. The kitchen looked good. The strange thing was that the bathroom lamp would light up every time someone passed by in the corridor. The air from the vent in the middle of the room sprayed out. We had to crank the heater to the maximum. The radiator at the head of the bed made it impossible to lean against the wall, especially with it on full blast. Both of us slept badly because the beds were hard and we couldn’t lie on our side, which is how we usually sleep. I travel a lot and stay in hostels often, but I rarely have such a bad night’s sleep.

The scenery is beautiful, tucked away in a nature reserve. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring. The facilities are wonderful and practical, and the environment is peaceful. The rooms and hostel areas are clean, simple, and well proportioned. I would be willing to pay more if the basic price included bed linen and a towel, and a few more essentials in the kitchen such as sugar, milk, instant coffee, and biscuits would be appreciated.

A great rest area for dogs, clean and well organized both in the room and the kitchen. A pleasant area on the northern mountain.
