The place is right in the heart of Ximending, within walking distance of Ximen station, restaurants, and shops, and they have an elevator which is handy. The room is small, so don’t bring too much luggage. There’s no bidet, and the staff never smiled or greeted you; the first thing the receptionist said was “passport, please.”

The location is great, close to the metro and surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Our room had no proper window, so it stayed dark all day, but we were out most of the day anyway, so it wasn’t a big issue for a single night.

The spot is pretty well‑located, a short walk to Ximen station and the train station. I found it quiet and cozy, though the window wouldn’t open for fresh air. I stayed on the 2nd floor, but the male toilet and bathroom were on the 3rd. It’s not a deal‑breaker.
