From the moment we picked up the key, everything went smoothly, and we found our rooms without any hiccups. All great.

The place was nice and clean, with great parking and a good outside area. For the price, it would help to have a heated pool, a jumping pillow, or other child‑friendly features.

The room was bright, clean, and the staff were lovely.

I loved the location and the room was a great size. However, mold was growing on the blinds and windows, the space under the bed was unclean, and there were scuff marks along the walls and on the kitchen kickboards.

We knew this standard cabin had a fairly small living area, and the staff suggested upgrading to a larger cabin (though none were available for our weekend). Our cabin had two bedrooms: one with a double bed, which was sensible, and the second with bunks that could fit three people. That felt ridiculous for the space available. It would be better to set the accommodation up for a maximum of three or four guests rather than five.
