“Lovely restored mansion with full breakfast in old, stately neighborhood”
The mansion was beautifully restored and the 4‑course breakfast in the old neighborhood was lovely. Nothing else to add.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel like we were living in another era – pure southern hospitality.

The area is lovely, the building charming, and the porch is great for relaxing outside. However, the bathroom lacks towel bars, so drying towels requires a request for new ones. The breakfast room and service were special, especially the coffee and excellent service, but the food felt more like warehouse quality.

Breakfast was fine, but there were no options or menu details provided, which is problematic for those with food allergies. We also discovered upon arrival that our room had no lock and no way to secure belongings, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close.

The historic setting is gorgeous and peaceful—nothing else to note.
