1 double bed
“La Maison du Magistrat: une étape incortounable!”
First of all, the welcome was extraordinary. Our host, Jeanne, helped us with an evening meal for four people, and for an improvised dinner it was delicious, well presented, and truly generous (starter, main, cheese, dessert). We were thrilled! Then breakfast was also delightful, varied, and plentiful. Coffee and tea were served in the cup by our host! The bedding is very comfortable (Verlaine room). The décor and furnishings are the result of great care and a lot of taste. Details everywhere, everywhere. No trouble parking within 50 metres. Nothing at all.
“Excellent for comfort and style”
A tastefully restored 19th‑century house with excellent modern facilities such as good Wi‑Fi and showers, and a generous breakfast. We had a delicious dinner. After a long day of walking, the very comfortable bed ensured a good night’s sleep. Would we return? Absolutely.
“Jeanne saved a pair of exhausted hikers”
Jeanne was the perfect host in every possible way. Arriving completely exhausted from a long hike, Jeanne made us feel human again with a warm welcome, a delicious meal, and a very enjoyable chat over a glass of Cartagène. The house itself is impressive, with period furnishings that are perfectly placed – the host clearly has a talent for interior design. Overall the experience was faultless and I would highly recommend La Maison du Magistrat. We will definitely return. Nothing else. It was perfect.
“Je conseille vivement”
Beautiful place. The décor was carefully chosen in the room and all common areas. Lots of extraordinary trinkets. Breakfast was plentiful and served in beautiful dishware. We also dined on site in a cosy dining room. It was delicious. Thank you, Jeanne.
“Un lieu à partager”
Very warm welcome in a superbly decorated manor house that gives the place a certain soul. The surroundings are beautiful within a region and nature that deserve to be discovered.
