There wasn’t much to say positively; the place was extremely rundown and definitely not worth the money they tried to charge, the photos didn’t match the accommodation, there was no grass like in the pictures, the rooms and furniture looked tired and needed an upgrade, and the staff uniforms were worn.

Everyone on the team was friendly and helpful, the chef is excellent and offers a very personal touch, and we left with a very good impression.

The staff are incredible—friendly and attentive, especially Lakshita and Chef Hansika. We also loved the tranquil setting and their focus on sustainable, responsible tourism. The locally sourced food is great, so you’ll never be hungry.

It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing—a perfect spot to escape and unwind. The meals were all locally sourced, and Hansika and Lakshita did a wonderful job making us feel welcome. If you expect luxury, this place won’t deliver; it’s basic, comfortable seaside lodging.

The staff were almost like friends, they made the meals beautiful, we chose the whole menu together every day, and they showcased everything they could to make our time enjoyable. The water was not calm enough for swimming, but the pool was fine.
