The room was beautiful with lovely wall decorations, the shower was hot, the host was very friendly, and the food was tasty. However, there was a large gap under the door that made the room quite cold.

Everything was perfect, and there was nothing negative.

The room was absolutely breathtaking, from the views to the handmade timber details, and the location was unforgettable! The garden was very comfortable and cozy, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and nourishing with picturesque scenery in the background. We were greeted with such kindness at check‑in, even throwing away all the trash we had collected on the trek. I would highly recommend it!

The lady’s welcome was the only good part. The hot water was missing, the concrete floor was rough, the sheets and towels were dirty, the evening meal was the worst dinner of our four weeks in Peru, the breakfast offered very little food before a long walk, and the sandwich price for lunch was high.

The owner was great, served an awesome dinner and good breakfast, and would pack you sandwiches for lunch. He also knows every place you might stay and gives advice on finding your next spot, then offers options for which trail to take in the morning—whether the road or the actual trail, which we chose because of him and are so grateful he told us we could.
