The only good thing was the price and location. Almost everything else was bad: the air‑conditioning was broken and old, the room didn’t cool, so they gave us a fan with just a blade; the bathrooms had no water for showers, brushing teeth, or flushing; the beds had broken legs; there was dust and spider webs. We were staying with a 10‑month‑old baby and a 3‑year‑old child, and it was a nightmare. 🥲

The lodge is well located, we had no problems with other guests talking or anything like that, the room was huge, could fit about 10 people. It was good value for money; depending on why I return to Cuiabá, I would stay again. The room’s acoustics were terrible; any person walking made enough noise to wake anyone, the air conditioning needed maintenance because it took a long time to start cooling, and since the room was large, we struggled at first. The beds were quite hard, the room lighting was very dim, the bathroom was clean, but the shower needed maintenance because half the water fell on the wall, so we had to keep adjusting to get water to fall on us.
