Great spot for exploring, close to Hay on Wye. We were greeted warmly on arrival and well taken care of throughout our stay. The facilities and room were clean and excellent. Breakfast had fabulous options, the Highfield specials were tasty—thanks Libby—and the baked treats were a lovely surprise. Watching the sheep and lambs was a bonus delight. Absolutely nothing to add.

The room and house were beautiful and spotless, and the host was lovely. The location was stunning and scenic, and the breakfast was delightful and truly welcoming. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like.

Libby and Roddy were outstanding hosts, friendly and full of useful information. Everything was handled with ease. The breakfast featured fresh, local ingredients and was superb. We appreciated the farm setting, especially the lambs during this season, and the place was quiet with breathtaking hill views. Nothing to complain about.

This place is truly special. From the moment we arrived, Libby welcomed us and was generous and hospitable throughout, making sure everything matched our preferences. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean, with the option of a bath or shower. The bedding and fittings were top‑grade. Every breakfast was freshly made to order, delicious, and offered a wide variety of choices. We’re very thankful to Libby for making our stay at Highfield exceptional. Highly recommended.
