“Getting tired but great food”

The bar served great food, the breakfast was good, and the Guinness was good; the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, and the venue needs updating.

“We stayed at the Ard Ri 15 years ago, and coming back felt like home!”

The hotel was perfect for our needs, had complimentary parking, breakfast, and a fabulous Sunday roast; the only thing that could have been better would be if there was air‑con or at least a fan in our room.

“Ard Ri is the ideal location”

The spot in Tuam was spot‑on: comfy, spotless, and the staff were all smiles. The breakfast was lovely, and everything else worked perfectly – no complaints at all. It’s the ideal base for us, and we’ll definitely come back next time. Very happy 😊

“Lovely Hotel was exactly as described, the room was comfortable and clean with a good sized bathroom”

Breakfast was lovely, but the staff didn’t greet us as we sat down, so we had to hunt for someone to get coffee and toast. That aside, the cooking quality was great. At the bar, the staff seemed more interested in chatting and appearing idle than serving guests, though a funeral was happening at the time, so it was just a minor hiccup.
