“Un séjour agréable grâce à un accueil exceptionnel, malgré quelques points à améliorer.”
We had a very good stay. Rahul is adorable, always available, and ready to solve problems—he even cancelled a night free of charge when our train changed and helped us multiple times (tailor, driver, etc.). The balcony offered a beautiful view of the Ganges. The cook was very friendly and everything we ate was tasty and generous: pancakes, noodles, biryani… The guesthouse was very welcoming. The overall cleanliness and maintenance could use improvement, and a small soap at arrival would have been nice. The air‑conditioning was initially stuck at 19°C, but Rahul had the remote fixed quickly. Still, it was hard to find a comfortable temperature and the heat shock from the 36°C outside was significant.
There was nothing positive to mention. The property was filthy, just like the photos on the website, and it was clear the building had been converted from an old house into a guest house. The bedsheets were dirty and the sofa had no cover.
“Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ottima posizione tranquilla e tutto lo staff è stato molto gentile. Per il prezzo consiglia”
The location was quiet and convenient.
“Great experience”
I stayed in a freshly painted, spotless room and the meals were cooked well and affordable. The area around the hotel is mostly quiet and it’s close to Assi Ghat where the morning and evening Aarti take place, so overall the experience was excellent. The only downside was that the Wi‑Fi signal in my corner room was weak, but I had a travel router so that didn’t bother me.
“Big room but property needs an upgrade”
The staff were friendly and the room was spacious, but the room wasn’t clean and the sheets had stains. A fresh coat of paint would have made the place look better; everything seemed tired and old.
