“Terrible, unacceptable, and unaccomidating”
The parking lot had a Waffle House and the showers supplied hot water, but the pool and hot tub were out of order and the breakfast was cold. I asked for extra waffle mix, yet they refused to refill it even though breakfast still had an hour left. The staff offered no help, and I paid almost $100 for a single night without any amenities while dealing with rude employees who seemed indifferent.
I appreciated the pool table, and the location was near a gas station and several restaurants. The pool was only open for 4 hours, there was no hot tub, and no Wi‑Fi details were provided. I had to ask for my receipt, kids ran around the lobby, pets were allowed, and a vehicle stayed parked in the loading area the entire time. My bathroom floor had dirty corners, the shower head was loose, and the tub was stained with grime.
“Won’t stay again”
The location was good, but there were bugs and ants in the room.
“We are from Nebraska traveled to KC it was an Awful stay!”
Our bathroom had mold in the sink, the molding along the bottom was peeling, the ceiling tiles were missing, and the vent was filthy—there were more issues, and I have pictures. The first room we moved from had a non‑working bathroom outlet, so they relocated us to a smaller corner room, which ended up being this one. The room itself was clean, the hotel was honest, but the gym was dirty, the equipment seats were torn, and the pool was closed for maintenance. The overall experience was terrible; it was our first trip in 17 years after we buried our children, so we wanted it to be special.
“Not as bad as people said it was.”
The place looked very nice and was close to World's of Fun; the breakfast wasn’t bad for a hotel. My room lacked hot water, the air conditioner was a bit loud, and there were many sketchy people on the property.
