“Great staff-breakast hostess, housekeeping and front desk were all welcoming and professional.”

The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was delicious, plus the shower was great. The kettle didn’t have an outlet, and when we hung our towels to save energy as the hotel sign suggested, they still washed and removed them, so we had to hang a privacy sign to stop housekeeping from wasting time and energy on our room. But seriously, why was there no tea kettle outlet?

The staff were very friendly, the location was very, very good, and the breakfast buffet was nice. The standard room was rather small.

“Great stay in Porto!”

This hotel was great, especially its fabulous location and the helpful staff. We were given a really large, spacious room that we appreciated; everything was nice and clean. A few things were glitchy: the shower button that switches from faucet to handheld was a bit fiddly, and the sliding glass bathroom door was also pretty hard to move. Otherwise everything was great. It’s nice that they offer a small fridge and a really good sized desk for working, plus tons of closet space and an elevator, which isn’t always guaranteed in some cities. Great value for this place!

“Well-appointed city centre hotel with helpful staff and a good breakfast.”

Excellent central location, very helpful English-speaking staff, good choice of breakfast dishes, very attractive and well cared for period interior. Lack of bath plug (though an inverted coffee cup was just the right size to substitute!)
