“This is a place I go back”
The place is fantastic and the staff are amazing. Smail helped me arrange transportation and double‑checked that I reached my destination safely; he even worried I’d missed breakfast and offered to pack some to go. Yassine Mohamed and Marwan were always ready to help, and one of them taught me how to use inDrive. They’re the kind of help you need when visiting a new place.

The spot was in the heart of town and easy to locate, but the policy says cash isn’t accepted while in reality they only take cash. I felt the hostel was exploiting women, especially with a steep price hike for the female‑only dorm. There were barely any electrical outlets, no light near the bed or shelf for personal items, and in a country where women dress modestly one would expect more consideration. The worst was the constant odor that I think was insecticide, which oddly didn’t seem to work.
