“There are many better options available at this price point”
1.The individual bed is quite large, and the mattress is of medium firmness. This is probably the only real advantage. 2.The owner is fairly friendly. After hearing my concerns, they did try their best to address them. 1.The common areas are far too small. When someone is using the sink and another person needs to use the toilet, they interfere with each other, and doors often collide when opened. The bathroom space is extremely dim and frequently unclean. Since no indoor slippers are provided, everyone enters the bathroom wearing outdoor shoes, making the floor very dirty. On top of that, the hot water is not hot enough and the supply is insufficient—I ended up taking cold showers twice. 2.The self check-in process is very unclear. I hope clearer and more detailed instructions can be provided in the future. 3.The keycard door sensor is very unresponsive. Buttons are often triggered by mistake, and sometimes the door doesn’t register the card at all, leaving me locked outside. 4.The most troubling issue is how noisy the room is. In addition to the daily sound of the water heater running, there seems to be some kind of sound resonance that amplifies noises from other beds—coughing, snoring, or talking all sound much louder than they should. For the first few nights, my bed was near the door, and the sound of it opening and closing was unbearably loud. I slept less than three hours a night and felt exhausted all day, which completely ruined the travel experience. 5.The curtain design for the beds is very poor. When the light is on inside, people outside can clearly see everything that’s happening inside. There is absolutely no privacy—not just when changing clothes, but literally every movement is visible. 6.This location is somewhat far from Chiang Mai’s popular areas. Without your own transportation, taxis are expensive and walking takes a long time. Chiang Mai has plenty of affordable accommodations with good quality. I strongly recommend not choosing this place just to save on room costs—once you add transportation expenses, you’re not really saving any money at all
