“Quiet spot with nice views, but rough access and few amenities”
Breakfast was eggs and arepa served with fruit, juice and a hot drink – simple but tasty. The place is quiet, the little pool looks out over the mountains and the ceiling fan kept the room comfortable, plus the view from the room was great. The road to the hotel is a rough dirt track with some steep stone‑plate sections, parking is tiny and you have to line up cars on a slope, Wi‑Fi can be weak, and there’s no fridge, TV or hot water; the shower seemed clogged and gave barely any flow.
“Great views and service, but some upkeep needed”
Mountain views, friendly staff and good food made the stay pleasant, and the directions to the hotel were spot‑on. The pool could use a better cleaning, the rooms lack wardrobes or luggage racks, the shower pressure is low, and adding a few hammocks and improving the entrance and parking would be nice.
“Attentive staff and pleasant setting”
The staff were attentive and the place itself was pleasant; everything felt nice overall.
“Friendly staff, but hard to reach by car”
The staff were really helpful, thanks for that. Getting there with a private car was a bit of a hassle.
“Spectacular view, but access and comforts fall short”
The modern house is spacious and the scenery is stunning, but reaching it is a nightmare – we couldn’t drive the car up, had to wait for a taxi from town, and the road becomes almost impassable when it rains. Inside, the rooms feel minimalist, the windows and bathroom have no screens so insects are everywhere, the only TV is in the common area with poor signal, and the price feels far too high for the limited service and many restrictions on pets.
