“It was too short but so picturesque and relaxing.”

The hosts are incredibly helpful, taking their time to meet your needs and going beyond what’s expected. Lourens stood out as especially personable and the go‑to person for wine recommendations. The farm itself feels authentic and the views are fantastic. The only downside was that the cabinet directly above the kitchenette faucet keeps getting in the way; I bumped my head many times while washing dishes. Aside from that, it’s a great spot to unwind and escape city noise.

The views of both the river and the farm are beautiful, and it felt private as if we were the only ones there. Everything was well equipped, from braai facilities to outdoor furniture, and there’s even a kayak to take on the river.
